Throwing Drills for Baseball/Softball Players with Lower Extremity Injuries

How do you train the High Level Throwing® pattern with an injured lower extremity and unable to step and throw? What if the doctor said you weren’t allowed to perform any weight bearing activities? Would you just stop throwing and wait until the injury healed AND then work on your arm?

Whether it’s a stress fracture, an actual fracture or a pulled muscle that limits your ability to stand, there are still ways to train the arm pattern and sequence without placing excess loading on the injured site. Let’s take a look.
